Project Estimator

Osmose is seeking a Project Estimator responsible for identifying, evaluating, and analyzing costs associated with construction and development projects of varying sizes and complexities. This role plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering accurate and timely cost estimates that align with organizational goals. Project Estimators work closely with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies that are both competitive and profitable, ensuring the long-term success of project bids and proposals.

LOCATION: IN OFFICE POSITION CAN BE BASED OUT OF OUR DOWNTOWN ATLANTA, GA

OR PEACHTREE CITY/ NEWNAN GA OFFICE LOCATION.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholder to develop innovative, data-driven pricing models that align with both customer expectations and company profitability goals.
  • Apply consistent, scalable, and repeatable methodologies to assess competitive positioning, proposal requirements, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all project proposals throughout the entire proposal lifecycle.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to forecast project costs, identify trends, and support executive decision-making.
  • Participate in the review and refinement of estimating processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide analytical support during negotiations and assist in value engineering exercises to optimize project scope and cost.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in cost estimating, financial modeling, or data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and pivot tables).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Qlik is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required to project sites, client meetings, or company events, typically within the Southeastern U.S. region.

Travel will not exceed 10–15% annually unless project demands increase temporarily
