About the Role:
Osmose is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Project Management to lead a high-performing team across a large and diverse project portfolio. This leader will play a key role in ensuring excellence in project execution, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency—primarily within utility services but with an eye toward broader industry applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and associate project managers to deliver complex utility and infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Direct all phases of project life cycles, including planning, scheduling, execution, risk mitigation, and closure.
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Delivery, Business Development) to align project objectives with customer expectations and contracted scope.
Oversee multiple project portfolios, ensuring financial targets are met, and proactively manage forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
Serve as the primary point of contact with customers, participating in strategic meetings and presenting project status updates.
Manage internal reporting on performance metrics, progress tracking, cost controls, and scheduling.
Resolve project-related issues and support continuous process improvement across teams.
Uphold and drive adherence to Osmose’s project management methodologies and company policies.
Qualifications:
PMP certification required.
5+ years of hands-on project management experience.
5–10 years of leadership experience, ideally with direct reports and oversight of complex, multi-state project portfolios.
Background in utilities is required; combined experience in utility and non-utility sectors strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of utility spend behavior, decision-making, and asset/data management strategies.
Strong financial acumen in project accounting, including revenue tracking, cost of goods, and accrual reconciliation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with polished customer-facing presentation abilities.
Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred.
Ability to travel 10–30% as required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative field preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Typical office conditions with occasional field visits; moderate noise level.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Role requires frequent communication, standing, walking, and use of computer systems.
