We are currently seeking candidates for Overhead Assessment Foreman in Northern Upstate New York, United States area!
Overhead Assessment Foreman will start at $26/hour plus opportunity for hourly bonus with weekly pay! Plus hotel expenses, contract specific pay increase, and living allowance.
Summary of Position
An Overhead Assessment Foreman is responsible for collecting detailed technical information about electric utility and telecommunication facilities and equipment. It is an outdoor position that requires hiking between spans of utility poles to capture data that maintains the electrical grid. . Osmose will train the ideal candidate to perform all required duties. This position requires routine overnight travel typically 1-2 weeks at a time away from home. Home most weekends with occasional out of state assignments which may involve longer stays of up to a month at a time if needed.
Responsibilities
Work in an outdoor environment to collect field data that the electrical grid and facilities.
Maintain good customer and public relations by maintaining a professional appearance, being courteous, and communicating in a clear, respectful manner.
Maintain a positive company image, including the appearance of the crew, vehicles, and work areas.
Effectively manage daily work and crew to meet safety, quality, production, expense control, and crew management goals (select projects).
Operate company-owned vehicles to transport material, equipment, and crew to and from job site—including utility vehicles (UTVs) and trailer towing as needed (select projects).
Enforce and comply with all company and/or customer-required policies and procedures.
Operate and maintain equipment that would include tablet computer, measuring tools and Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications
Ability to travel and work outside in variable terrain and weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills; both written and oral.
Ability to pass background check and drug test(project specific).
