Sr Recruiting Manager

Summary of position:
We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our internal recruiting initiatives for both our field and corporate talent needs and further expand our internship program. In this role, you will create innovative recruitment strategies, partner with hiring managers, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience. Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, prioritize positions, and align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates to determine their suitability for specific roles.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization’s employer brand to attract top talent.

Responsibilities (continued):

  • As a leader in the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, and ensuring the alignment of recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
  • Utilize data and metrics to track and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR staff and other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends to continually optimize the talent acquisition process.
  • Manage salary negotiations, present job offers, and facilitate the offer acceptance process.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency in candidate sourcing using various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Requires experience collaborating with senior hiring managers and navigating complex, high-level recruitment processes.
  • Networking skills to establish connections within the industry and build a talent pipeline.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking system, (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Comfortable negotiating job offers, developing compensation structures, and managing the offer acceptance process.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, industry trends, and recruitment best practices.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles in the recruitment process.
  • Proven experience as a talent acquisition manager or similar recruitment leadership role.
  • Developing and managing internship programs that align with organizational needs and provide valuable learning experiences for students.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with academic departments, career services, and student organizations to enhance internship recruitment efforts.
  • Coordinating career fairs, networking events, and on-campus recruiting activities to maximize student engagement and internship placements.
  • Supporting students throughout their internships with mentorship and career guidance, leading to high retention rates and positive feedback from both students and managers.
