We are currently seeking a Project Estimator responsible for identifying and analyzing costs related to projects of varying size and scope. Successful Project Estimators partner with company operations teams to accurately price proposals in accordance with company goals and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to design innovative pricing strategies that maximize market opportunities while advancing company interests.
  • Apply consistent and repeatable methods to assess competitive positions, proposal objectives and pricing requirements.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of proposals throughout the life cycle of the proposal.
  • Analyze financial and operational metrics to create projections for future opportunities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in quantitative model development; coursework and proven proficiency in statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, finance, risk management, or related field.
  • Proven track record of being able to work autonomously, work within a team environment, exhibiting demonstrated leadership and a strong desire to learn and contribute to a group.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficiency with basic math and quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to handle variable workloads and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with profit and loss statements.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to balance “big picture” concepts with attention to detail.
